A worried father brings his 8-month-old daughter into the surgery. She was previously fit and well, but suddenly started vomiting this morning and he reports that the last vomit was bright green in colour. She has been crying inconsolably for periods of 15-20 minutes and then settling in between. When you examine her she looks a little pale and you cannot palpate any bowel in the right lower quadrant.
